Saving the Kiwi 2009 Calendar wins Highly Commended at Pride in Print Awards
As part of our commitment to saving our national icon, we have for the past four years produced a calendar featuring artwork celebrating kiwi and bringing attention to this important cause.
For our 2009 calendar, we held a competition that was extended to our staff and their families, to design a t-shirt that would raise awareness of the plight of kiwi. The winning designs were then converted into calendar artworks.
Several advanced printing techniques were used in producing the calendar, including UV overglossing and fluoro inks. These techniques and the overall quality of the calendar gained us a Highly Commended award for the Industry Development and Innovation in the print industry category at the 2009 Pride in Print Awards.
